Sockeye Salmon Canning Workshop

Come join us at our Sockey Salmon Canning Workshop!

 

This workshop is now full, thank you for your interest and check back often for other exciting classes/workshops!

 

Join us for an Indigenous experience of preparing and preserving one of our land’s most beautiful gifts, the Sockeye salmon. Participants will be going home with a jar of prepared fish!

Facilitated by Luke Guilbault:

Luke Guilbault has roots in the Tsimshian and Gitxsan nations, his band is Kitsumkalum located next to Terrace BC. Luke is passionate about providing urban indigenous people indigenous teaching in an environment free of judgment and lateral violence.

Time: 12 PM to 5 PM

*Donations welcome, $10 recommended for participation (however not mandatory!)*
