SETTLEMENT

Settlement at Marpole Neighbourhood House

Welcome to the new Settlement Worker Service at Marpole Neighbourhood House—a program dedicated to supporting immigrants, refugees, and temporary residents as they settle into life in Canada with confidence and dignity.

Our settlement worker is ready to provide personalized, one-on-one support by appointment, helping newcomers navigate resources, services, and systems—from housing and education to community connections and more. Available in Spanish and deeply compassionate, this service ensures newcomers are seen, heard, and supported every step of the way.

We’re also proud to offer the First Nations Restorative Circles initiative, which promotes emotional and mental wellness through culturally responsive and land-based practices—a gentle but powerful support for healing and belonging.

More services are coming soon! Stay tuned as we continue to expand our offerings and deepen our support for newcomers in Marpole.
