Your questions answered
Common questions
What is a Neighbourhood House?
A Neighbourhood House is a welcoming, community-driven space where people of all ages and backgrounds can connect, learn, share, and support each other. MNH is part of the Association of Neighbourhood Houses of BC (ANHBC), a network that has served Vancouver communities for over 125 years.
How do I get involved?
There are many ways! You can volunteer, become a member, attend programs, or even rent our spaces for community events. Explore the “Get Involved” section to learn more.
What does it mean that MNH is on “unceded territories”?
It means our building and programs exist on lands that were never surrendered by the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. We acknowledge this with respect and work to build meaningful connections through projects like the Blanket Project, Awakening the Spirit, and other collaborations.
Can I host my own event at MNH?
Yes! Our spaces are available for community groups, celebrations, and meetings. Check out the Rentals page for photos and details.
